What is Virgin Hair?
Virgin human hair, is hair that is completed nature and unprocessed that has never been chemically or mechanically manipulated.
Chemically manipulation includes dyes, hair relaxed and perming. Mechanical manipulation includes curling irons, flat irons, hair drying, baking or boiling.
As the hair is natural there is no damage to cuticles or texture, as the cuticles are aligned and run in same direction with helps to prevent tangling and matting.
The bundle hair can come from one person which is known as Single drawn. May find that each bundle of hair has slightly different shades, this is because each people does not have same colour hair. The ends will have a natural tapered look, as opposed to a blunt cut.
Virgin hair is best quality hair, which is known to last to for 1-2 years with proper care.
Perfect locks Virgin Indian hair is no treated with any chemical or processing and lifespan of 1-2 years with proper care.
What is Remy Hair?
Remy is human hair that cuticle remain and run in alignment in the same direction like virgin human hair. However, Remy hair does not mean virgin human hair.
Most Remy hair has gone through some form of processing whether it is texture or colouring in order to get the look required.
It is suggested that no further processing should be done such as breaching or colouring as it damages the hair.
Remy hair is considered to be one the highest grades of hair and also has longevity as virgin hair if it is maintain property.
What is Raw Hair?
Raw hair refers to hair that is in its most natural state, meaning it hasn't undergone any chemical processing, such as colouring, relaxing, or perming. It is often collected directly from the donor and maintains its natural cuticles aligned in one direction, which helps prevent tangling and keeps the hair looking healthy and smooth.
Key characteristics of raw hair include:
- Natural Texture: Raw hair comes in its original texture, whether straight, wavy, or curly, without being steam-processed.
- Unprocessed: No chemicals or treatments have been applied to the hair. It can be dyed, bleached, and styled as desired.
- Durability: Raw hair is known for its longevity. With proper care, it can last for several years.
- Premium Quality: Because it’s in its purest form, raw hair tends to be more expensive compared to processed hair.
- Source: Typically sourced from countries like India, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Burma, where women donate or sell their hair.
How much hair is needed for a full
Recommend 2 packs of hair for lengths 18 inches or under. But if you want a fuller look you need 3 packs. However, it is always better little extra than not enough.
For the relaxed straight hair only need 2 packs for weave or wigs, as the bundles are very full.
Caring for hair extensions
Proper Hair maintenance is required for hair extensions and that split ends and dryness are common with virgin hair.
It is important to treat and condition properly in order to see the true beauty of the hair.
The quality of the hair becomes better and better over time with each wash and increase longevity.
It is recommended that you use products that specific to the texture you have purchased, especially for wavy and curly hair.
It best you use sulfate free products but other professional graded products will also work well.
Colouring hair
If you are colouring your hair extensions for the first time, it’s best to have it done by a professional hairdresser.
Since virgin hair is completely natural and has never been processed, it takes the colour very easily.
Going from a 1B to Platinum blonde requires bleaching and is not an easy process.
Furthermore the more chemicals that are used on the hair can damage the hair and become very dry. However, it recommend that if the hair is dyed always use a colour that adds conditioner and oil that prevents the hair drying out.
Chemical Treatment
It is recommend that professional hairdressers should attempted to chemically alter such as highlighting, bleaching and colouring hair.
Virgin hair is very resilient and durable, but can be easily damaged beyond repair.
Colouring on top of hair ready coloured is not recommended.

Styling
It is recommended to avoid heavy products such as hair spray, gel and mousse. The product can cause a build up and make the hair heavy and stiff.
Tongs, crimpers, irons and heated rollers can be used on hair extensions.
However, it is advisable that you use heat protection spray for protecting your hair extensions and your natural hair.
It is best not to overuse heat tools as this can cause your extensions to dry out.
